USA TRIAL DAYS & 4 Day UK TAster TRIP
Providing a valuable insight into both the
academic and sporting programme.
We will be holding several trial days across the USA and we offer a 4 day UK Taster trip.
Our objective is to provide our student athletes and parents with total peace of
mind prior to making a final decision to study in England.
USA Trial Days
Soccer and Study trial days are open to female students from 14-21 years old, and are suited to high school/college players who have the talent, commitment and desire to balance a full-time University education with a full-time, professionally organised soccer programme.
We plan to run USA trial days in the Fall Semester in a variety of USA locations. Trial days are open to student athletes of varied abilities who are looking to:
• Achieve an internationally recognised degree in a highly respected UK University.
• Maximise their potential as a soccer player with a personalised training/playing programme.
• Participate in a life-changing experience with ongoing support from S&SUK.
Our USA trial events / UK taster trips achieve five key objectives:
1. Provide student athletes with an opportunity to fully understand how the Academy Programme works.
2. Students can ask us any questions they wish prior to making a decision about registering.
3. The S&SUK team have the opportunity to chat with and get to know individual student athletes.
4. Parents/Guardians can meet with the S&SUK team to ask any questions about the programme.
5. Provide total peace of mind to students and parents, whether it be about education, accommodation, health or soccer facilities; this is a key priority of the whole team.

4 Day UK Taster Trip
Our 4 day UK taster trip is designed to reassure both athletes and parents, and provide all relevant information prior to making this big decision. The schedule includes:
• 4 nights half-board accommodation for the full trip (at a hotel in Leeds City Centre)
• Pick-up and drop-off at Leeds Bradford or Manchester Airports
• Meet with University professors; Q&A with course lecturers plus a full University tour
• Tour of the Carnegie Sports Campus and opportunity to use the facilities
• Visit to view some University accommodation
• Meet the Soccer and Study UK team, to include soccer training and Q&A sessions
• Tour of the City of Leeds
• A day trip to the beautiful Yorkshire Dales
Taster Trip Pricing
Price per student athlete - £700
Parents/Guardians are welcome to attend – price is £800 (per couple based on a shared room).
NB: excludes flights which need to be purchased separately.
• Choice of a 3 year degree or 1 year postgraduate course.

• High grade en-suite accommodation in centrally located Halls of Residence.
• Individual bedroom with en-suite facilities within a modern shared apartment.
• Fully furnished apartments including appliances, crockery and utensils.
• All bedding including duvet, pillows and bed sheets provided.
• Minimum 6 hours coaching per week with FA qualified male & female coaches.
• Extensive games programmes and individual training programmes.
• Access to high ranked local women's teams (eg Leeds United, York City, Harrogate Town AFC).
